Natural Magic

Natural health works!

Provided the following principles and mindset are in place:

[some of these points overlap]

1. Box Clever

The individual must be prepared to put in the effort – do the exercises, be disciplined with diet, reduce physical strains and stresses, etc. If one goes to see any practitioner – be it a nutritionist, physical therapist, herbalist, etc – one has to accept that they (the patient/client) are going to have to do 70/85% of the work. It is the boxer who has to fight in the ring, not the coach. The practitioner’s responsibility is only to give guidance, and/or give that individual the opportunity to heal.

2. Root Cause

The practitioner (or yourself) does not try to ‘fix’ the problem, but looks at the underlying cause/s. Key interdependent elements to a health are:

(i) environment – a difficult one these days to alter, but one may have to move, or spend time in a more healthier environment. Plus one’s domestic or work environment may need to change.

(ii) energy – levels and intensity of one’s life force energy/chi.

(iii) physical/structure – repetitive learned postures and activities.

(iv) emotions/mind – attitudes, intent, ability to reflect, etc

(v) nutrition – the fuel for the body. Dependent on age, activities, environment, lifestyle, race/genes, etc.

(vi) spirituality – encompasses all of the above. The spirit within one. Soul consciousness. Some would argue that this is everything.

3. Change Reality

It is crucial that the patient is realistic in the lifestyle changes they have to make. Change is hard for all of us, especially as we age. But eventually we can see these changes as positive changes. Start off small and slow. Have a little personal reward scheme set up. For example, a visit somewhere, or activity once you have achieved X amount of days veg-juicing, or whatever.

4. How to Eat

Surely eating is a simple enough concept. Most of us get the hang of it by the time we can even speak. But such practice we all make of it. Making dietary changes alone may not necessarily be the answer. How to eat is as important as what to eat. Here are some ideas on how to reduce unnecessary symptoms and maximise nutritional input:

(i) Chew your food properly. Take your time to appreciate your meal – the textures, the flavours – in a relaxed enjoyable pace. Never wolf food down. By masticating the food in your mouth first before swallowing, this allows the pre-digestive enzymes in your mouth to break down the food prior to entering the digestive tract and stomach.
(ii) Eat small mouthfuls, for the same reason as above.
(iii) Only eat two cupped hands full at one sitting. 3 or 4 course meals are very unhealthy.
(iv) Look into food combining. This is probably one of the most overlooked area of nutrition, even for long term healthy eaters.
(v) Try to have a variety of foods each day. Mix and match for interest and for health benefits.

5.  Water and Oil

One must wholeheartedly chose allopathic or the natural health route. Rarely can one do both. A foot in each boat so to speak cannot work. It has to be one or the other. The term ‘complementary’ medicine is one of those nonsensical terms. These two areas (allopathic and natural health) are 100% non-compatible. They’re like water and oil. Likewise, the term ‘alternative’ is nonsense too, because natural health/laws is THE only way the body responds on a cellular level. So it is not an alternative, it’s just in alignment with natural law. Modern medicine is the real alternative, as it is generally counter-productive to the healing process.

6. No Labels

The golden rule with any healing is to try hard to get out of the conditioned mindset that we need to focus on ailments, symptoms and conditions. This is the BIG mistake we all make, as these are just labels. And this is the blatant difference between allopathic medicine (mindset) and the natural world. The body does not really care about any labels, it only ever cares about CELLULAR HEALTH. This is the be all and end all of any health issue, be it a common cold or cancer.

Healthy cells = a healthy body. Healthy cells need five independent elements in place:

(i) oxygenated cells
(ii) hydrated cells
(iii) mineralised cells
(iv) energised cells
(v) balanced pH cells

These can be achieved only through natural health and natural laws. It just takes a bit of effort, discipline and adjustments to lifestyle.

7. Four Fuels

(i) veg juicing – quality vegetables in liquid form processed through a quality masticating juicer. [please see essay below ‘The pH bank balance”]

(ii) salads – using fresh, preferably organic foods. Have a variety (root and non-root) and try to eat them in season. Salads can be delicious if made creatively and with a bit of care. Having sufficient non-cooked foods in one’s regular diet is very healthy.

(iii) soups – using fresh, preferably organic foods. Have a variety (root and non-root) and try to eat in them in season.

(iv) supplements – timing is important. I would suggest fasting first before plunging the body full of nutrients on top of a toxic-laden body. Use only quality brands – I recommend companies such as Quest or Biocare. Personally I would take with a pinch of salt some of these so-called ‘superfoods’. They are more super-rip offs. In most cases they’re really not necessary. [see related post below ’Cleansing foods’]

8. Bumblebee Client

If you do decide to visit a practitioner, choose well. Best go to one you have been recommended to by someone reliable. And try to stick with this practitioner. Sometimes the healing process (undoing) can take many months. This means many sessions. If you go from practitioner to practitioner like a bumblebee, the body can sometimes get disorientated. It often needs time to adjust and resonate with a particular system. So perseverance with one system is the key. If, on the other hand, you have attended ten sessions and you feel no benefits whatsoever, then obviously it is time to move on. Please also accept you may initially feel worse with some changes, but things should begin to improve within two or three weeks.

A further note – I would advice avoiding any invasive type treatments. I have no time for osteopaths who carry out the thrusting spinal corrections. I wholly disagree with the principle of osteopathy as well as aggressive chiropractic treatments (I have more respect for ‘some’ Mc Timoney chiropractors, providing they are using an integrated approach). Your condition got to where it is over a gradual period of time, therefore the healing process needs time to reverse. I favour slow, gentle, integrated and non-invasive treatments as the faster and more effective method of healing.

9. Nil by Mouth

Before running off to any practitioner I would suggest one abstains from eating for a day or so. Most of our bodies are toxic minefields. Go without should be a first call for most people – eliminating toxicity through simple fasting. Just this simple element alone could probably deal with 90% of most conditions which we all seek help for. [please see essay below ‘Going without’]

10. …It Didn’t Work

The individual cannot dip one’s toes into natural health, then claim that natural health failed them. This is similar to the first point on this list. Popping down to the local acupuncture clinic for a few sessions whilst carrying on one’s unhealthy lifestyle, then saying “I tried natural health; but it didn’t work”, just ain’t gonna do it. If one is not fully committed to a natural healthy living, then the results are not going to manifest. It’s not natural health that failed you – it’s your lifestyle and mindset.

Summary

It is far too easy to become depressed in the true sense of the word when one knows how the world is run. One can lull in an apathetic state for months and years. We all have been there at some point. So that is why it is so important to make efforts with our nutrition and general health. This is exactly where the jews want us – depressed, apathetic, despondent. So let’s not let this happen. Let’s get fighting fit.
