The festivities were held from March 26 to 30, 2012 in different cities of South Korea.

Iranian Ambassador to Korea Ahmad Masoumifar and a number of diplomatic envoys attended one of the ceremonies held in Yangcheon Cultural Center, western Seoul on March 29.

The ceremony also marked the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between South Korea and Iran, Masoumifar said.

A Korean-Iranian group performed a mime show during the ceremony and a group of Iranian musicians presented Persian traditional music pieces.
