Obama has exploited the tragic and fatal shooting of teenager Trayvon Martin, who was shot by a neighborhood watch captain in a Florida gated community targeted in numerous burglaries.
Obama made his comments during a press conference in the Rose Garden announcing a nominee for the World Bank, described as a “multinational development institution” by the New York Times (more accurately described as an international bankster loan shark operation).
Obama said that “if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”
“I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this,” Obama said. “All of us have to do some soul searching to figure out how does something like this happen.”
“Obviously, this is a tragedy. I can only imagine what these parents are going through. When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids.”
“I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened,” he said.
The New York Times tried to minimize Obama’s obvious politicalization of the case by stating that he avoided “politically charged specifics about the case.” It mentioned that Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney had also talked about the shooting.
Obama’s comments follow an effort to turn the case into a major civil rights battle and cause célèbre with opportunists like the Rev. Al Sharpton grabbing the limelight. The Chicago Tribune notes that the case has drawn in many politicians and celebrities, many complaining that “the wheels of justice are moving too slowly” and that the suspect in the case should be immediately arrested and locked up.
The case is shaping up into a major civil rights issue with the NAACP, Urban League, and a host of black elected officials calling for the suspect, George Zimmerman, to be arrested.
Sharpton and the civil rights careerists, however, rarely if ever mention the facts when it comes to supposedly racially motivated crime.
According to FBI statistics, more than 1,600 whites are murdered by blacks each year, a rate that is 18 times the rate of white people killing blacks.
“Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery,” writes Ken LaRive, who cites federal crime reports backed up by the FBI’s National Crime Victimization Survey.
“Blacks are three times more likely to use a hand gun, and twice more likely to use a knife,” he adds. “Hispanics commit three times more violent crimes than whites, but the statistics are nebulous because sometimes they are classified as white, so it could be far higher.”
For Sharpton and the politically correct race-baiters, however, such facts are irrelevant and distract from their victimization agenda and its goal of preferential treatment and a prized place at the government’s confiscated wealth trough.
It comes as no surprise that Obama would exploit the Trayvon Martin case. He is a master at playing the race card. As journalist Walter E. Williams – who happens to be black – has noted, Obama’s racially tinted speech is “usually coded and subtle” and the Martin case is no exception.
Following Obama’s presidential victory, it became obvious his administration, establishment Democrats, and so-called “progressives” would use race as a political bludgeon against their opponents.
The liberal corporate media has played this game incessantly with chattering heads like Chris Matthews leading the charge in baseless accusations that establishment Republicans are racist. Ron Paul, in particular, has been repeatedly victimized by this sort of viciousness.
It remains to be seen if Obama will drag the dead body of Trayvon Martin behind him as he works his way through the campaign season toward the election in November. It cannot be discounted, however, considering polls showing narrow margins between Obama and his hand-picked opponents.

The widest street in Sanford will be called Trayvon Martin Boulevard. High schools will be named after him. Those with the name of Zimmerman will shorten it to Zimm to avoid the stigma. But if Zimmerman is found innocent the ghetto`s will go up in flames.
I’ve been watching this media fairy tale evolve for a weeks now. Next time you see the story take notice that picture of Trayvon is him at about 11 or 12 years of age not 17. For the first week they ran current pictures which show him as the hoodlum his victim claimed him to be. I can only guess it took them about a week to find a picture of Trayvon where he didn’t look like thug and then they had to go with a photo so old he probably didn’t even have hair on his nuts yet.
If you guys want to make this show even better watch the 1990 Tom Hanks movie “The Bonfire of the Vanities”. It’ makes the news coverage even funnier.
As things are getting a little bit madder and madder by the day in the USA with the MSM looking to be the investigator, judge, jury and executioner, its not looking that far away from this.

Stating FBI facts about black crime rates in no way justifies this shooting. That’s what this article appears to do. Tensions are high enough without this type of inflammatory article adding to the fray.
I am African American, and I do not condone violence, robberies, or murders committed by my race, yet how soon do whites tend to forget that a lot of racial occurrences committed by whites against blacks never get reported.
I was walking with 2 friends down the side of a road in Louisiana when two trucks full of screaming whites tried to run us over. We had not done anything illegal. We were simply walking down the side of the road. They were screaming “n***er” My friends and I had to jump out of the way of the vehicles to avoid injury or even death. That is a case of attempted murder. My two friends were white.
I have been refused service at fast food establishments, heckled by groups of whites, lied on, threatened, called derogatory and inflammatory racial slurs all because of the color of my skin. I choose to label the people that did those things as ignorant not just white, because I have had some of the greatest acts of kindness done to me by white people.
My point is, that we all can be a part of the solution by accepting each individual based upon the content of their character and not the color of their skin, or we can, like this article, fan the flames of racism in America until there are riots in the streets, racially motivated militia groups hunting down each other, more division (remember “United we stand, divided we fall” anyone?), and the imposition of martial law which is what the Obama administration wants anyway.
Maybe Kurt Nimmo needs to be reminded that there are blacks who love the articles on Prison Planet too. I am one of them.

Super you apparently did not read my entire post before you got angry and lashed out. I give examples of how I was personally discrimanated against just because I’m black. I do care for whites as I do any race.

Blacks at a Mall on one side of Summit county Ohio was overrun with black thugs that would harass and attack whites at every turn. Soon the whites stop coming and the stores went out of business. Now the poor discriminated against black people complain they have to drive 30 miles to get to a Mall, and who do they blame?? You guessed it; The White man.

A “Neighborhood Watch Captain” is elected by the people of the neighborhood to head the voluntary Neighborhood Watch program, neighbors who “see something say something.”
Why was the guy packing instead of calling the piggies?
Because piggy can get there from half an hour to up to a day after a call. During this time. someone can wind up beaten to death. Sometimes, piggies take these as “crank calls,” and innocent people wind up dead.
Zimmerman chose correctly. He chose not to be a victim by this punk.
I wouldn’t even call the police. Just shoot the punk in the face so the whore who had him can’t have an open box funeral.

living in the “inner city.”
I got woke up in the middle of the night, by a streetfight.
I ran to the window, and noticed two black men that looked like they were trying to kill each other.

to his car and grabbing a tire iron, and proceeded to beat the assailant to a bloody pulp. I kept on hearing Vern
declaring “Don’t pull knife on me you cain’t use it !!!
Later on I told Vern that I was permanently exiting the
inner city existence, and he wished me good luck out
in the boon docks. I hope he had the sense to make
the same decision.
So, killing a minority mugger in self defense is a “national tragedy,” but the murder of 1600 Whites a year by minority muggers isn’t?
And, if the guy who defended himself from this mugger is found “not guilty,” then minorities will riot?
I lived in California at the time of the Rodney King riots. Although where I lived was nearly 400 miles north, people were still afraid to go out. I wasn’t. Despite “laws” to the contrary, I carried a Glock 17 in my knapsack.
Today I live in a CCW state. I carry not only a Glock 19, but a second Glock 19 and an SW .44 Magnum with an 8″ barrel in my knapsack as backup. I also carry a Ruger Mini-14 behind my seat in my pickup.

Super if you had “thumped” a Bible yourself, you would know that Satan is the originator of sin. Good and evil is always a potential left up to the individual to decide. God did not create it. My condolences go out to Trayvon, his family and friends. Based upon the facts, Zimmerman committed murder and the “stand your ground” law does not exonerate him. Zimmerman’s actions do not even come close to the actions permitted under the “stand your ground” law or any other law and I am shocked that the police department would try to use that law as the basis for not arresting Zimmerman. An arrest should be made now! Anyone who reads the law will easily see that Zimmerman can not hide behind the stand your ground law.

LOL, they even define the times you can legally kill someone on your property.
This reminds me off a case where a Scottish man a few years ago, when was (murdered) shot through a home owners door in Texas after he knocked on the door to ask he could use the home owners telephone to get a Taxi (a normal thing to do back in Scotland) during the evening after dark. No charges were brought against the home owner.
Living in constant fear isn’t freedom (afraid to answer your front door) and life seems to be pretty cheap.
