Occupation demolishes seven Palestinian homes

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation forces demolished on Monday morning seven Palestinian homes in occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem.

Sources said that the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 170-square-metre home in the village of Surif in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

Demolishing this homes, the sources said, the Israeli occupation displaced a complete Palestinian family consists to seven members.

In Khirbet Al-Marajim, in the south of the West Bank city of Nablus, the Israeli occupation demolished two Palestinian homes belonged to Jamal al-Tawil and Hisham al-Jarbawi.

The two houses were demolished without a prior notice, the Palestinian activist who monitors Israeli settlement activities in the occupied West Bank Ghassan Daglas, said.

He added: “By the destruction of these two homes, the Israeli occupation forces displaced two families consist of 17 members, including 8 children.”

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 120-square-metre house in Jabal Al-Mukabbir Neighbourhood in East Jerusalem.

Abdul-Basit abu-Remeilah, the owner of the house and his six-member-family, became homeless after the demolition of their house. The Israeli occupation forces claimed that the house was built without the needed permits.

In south of Jenin, the village of Qabatiya, the Israeli occupation forces demolished three houses owned by the families of three Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces over claims of planning to stab Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem in February.

UN said that the Israeli occupation has been carrying an extensive demolition campaign against Palestinian homes in the occupied territories, which has left more than 650 Palestinians, half of them children, homeless in a span of three months.
