Osama Bin Laden was recruited and hired by the CIA in 1979 to assist in (Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor) Zbigniew Brzezinski’s Mujahideen jihad (Holy Warriors) war against the Russians who had invaded Afghanistan
Osama Bin Laden’s CIA asset name was Tim Osman. “Operation Cyclone” was the code name used for the CIA’s program to arm the Afghan mujahideen against the Red army. The training, supplying, and financing of the Mujahideen was one of the longest and most expensive covert operations in the history of the CIA.
President George Bush Sr. approved the US military aid to Bin Laden’s Mujahideen rebels. American taxpayers, as usual, did their part to finance the war and the Islamic militias by contributing more than $2 billion dollars to the international banking game.
