There is a hole in climate change alarmist theory that the earth is heating up.
It seems NASA satellite data spanning 2000 to 2011 shows that the planet is releasing more heat into space than the UN’s computer models were indicating.
Our atmosphere traps far less carbon dioxide than was previously claimed through computer models.
In a study published in the journal Remote Sensing , co-author Dr. Roy Spencer reported that real data from NASA’s Terra Satellite completely contradicts the assumptions made by climate change alarmists.
According to a press release , at the University of Alabama, Spencer said: “The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show. There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans.”
James Taylor, a senior fellow for environment policy at conservative think-tank The Heartland Institute, wrote at Forbes that the meaning of the new research is clear — and it compromises what he called a “central premise of alarmist global warming theory. Real-world measurements … show far less heat is being trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere than the alarmist computer models predict, and far more heat is escaping into space than the alarmist computer models predict.”
The planet is cooling. The UN’s models, which are now proven completely erroneous, show carbon dioxide trapped within the Earth’s atmosphere. However, the NASA satellite indicates that this gas is being released into space.
Scientists agree that the human impacts on the environmental levels of CO2 are negligible. The crux of the global warming debate rests on the idea that CO2 is trapped within the earth’s atmosphere, thereby heating up the planet at an alarming rate.
Alarmist computer models made the assumption that human CO2 emissions indirectly caused notable increase in atmospheric humidity (trapping heat). Their entire argument rested on the premise that carbon dioxide emissions should be directly and indirectly trapping a certain amount of heat in the earth’s atmosphere and preventing it from escaping into space.
Yet now, real world data contradicts their assertions.
The data being retrieved from the NASA Terra satellite is consistent with NOAA data from long-term studies of the same phenomena. The two agencies have also reached the same conclusions.
Terra satellite data is also consistent with NASA’s ERBA satellite which shows longwave radiation (heat) escaping the earth’s atmosphere and being jetted into space.
It is now irrefutable that the climate change alarmists used incorrect data to create their computer models.
And what we understand about the earth’s temperature based on assertions by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and other purveyors of man-made global warming are based on unscientific data, to say the least.
When climate fact meets climate change alarm, we shall see just what the true agenda is.
