Five shots were fired at a man who died at a Westfield shopping mall in Sydney’s west, a witness says.
Nikita King says the shooting took place outside the JB Hi-Fi store at the mall on Church Street in Parramatta, shortly before 4pm (AEDT) on Sunday.
“He went straight down,” she told AAP.
Ms King, an employee at the JB Hi-Fi store, said her work colleagues heard the victim and another man having an altercation shortly before five shots were fired.
“Apparently, some did hear them having an argument,” she said.
“I believe it was just one man.”
The man died at the scene a short time later and police have established a crime scene.
Several shops in the area trade until 5.30pm (AEDT).
