Poll after poll has found that Americans are extremely disillusioned with the federal government, regardless of their political affiliation, after the president signed an agreement over the federal debt ceiling and budget deficit.

According to a Washington Post poll released on Wednesday, just 21 percent of Americans are satisfied with the way the country’s political system is working, down 17 points from November 2009. Forty-five percent of Americans now consider themselves “very dissatisfied” and 33 percent consider themselves “mostly dissatisfied.”

Additionally, just 26 percent of Americans believe that the federal government can actually solve the country’s economic problems, down 21 points from October 2010 and down 37 points from February 2002.

President Barack Obama signed a debt ceiling deal into law in the beginning of August. The legislation raised the debt ceiling until 2013 and cut the federal deficit by about $2.1 trillion over a 10-year period. The two-stage agreement, which was criticized by both tea party lawmakers and progressive Democrats, passed by a vote of 269 to 161 in the House and a vote of 74 to 26 in the Senate.

A record breaking 82 percent of Americans now disapprove of the way Congress is doing its job, according to a CBS News/New York Times poll released just days after the president and lawmakers agreed on the deal.

The poll found 72 percent disapproved of how the Republicans in Congress handled the debate, and 66 percent of Americans disapproved of how the Democrats handled it. Forty-seven percent disapproved of Obama’s handling of the situation, while 46 percent approved.

    Right,…ReconaissanceScoutSniper;

And likely 3/4 of our (.79) remaining-numbers would hide the information, cower hope it all just goes-away,foolishly;Leaving about .20/100, of which more than 1/4 would lap the water from the stream on their knees like a dog; leaving us about 14.5% of which nigh a tenth would (out of Godless fear) would that they be allowed to go home to cry…let them go and thus leaves us about 13% of which only about 7% will give the best fight surviving to fight again!

Seven-percent is about all we can hope to awaken instill motivation withal as always trust in God Allmighty, as we do for ourselves, that which God Has Made for us in doing…

Even now are we already within all these this process as we war within our Information-Sources, complaining directing official public-outrages appropriately concisely ino the laps of those whom should now be Prosecuted, but alas they are, as they insist”above the Law” which Is a LIE. None are “above” the Law, that which was sent to us by the hands of Moses by GOD! It is-not some secret possession of secretive Judges Lawyers Prostitute-politicians!

Our two sides of the stories, their’s and our’s are even just now beginning to diverge, as millions daily are coming out from their MSM mesmerizing hypnotizing programming for the weak-minds, especially non-believers, grouped with non-patriot cowards…

We whose forebears still breathe within the blood in our veins say to hell with their new world order; We have seen it before and it is lies chains slavery dungeons evil-captivity, death!

Those that just so happen to be all the rotten-fruits of lais-faire society of fools sodomites criminals murderers managed by evil-emperors!

Pray most casualties, of these present literal information-wars, being those good for nothing thieves murderers unrepentant evils…

However the evil emperors will attempt to paint all with the same brush. We must show our differences…God’s people in those last days will be a peculiar-people,…?,…!??Crazy like a fox. Harmless as doves wise as serpents…remember…

What you said is correct. The same thing was said here a little over year ago.

Thats why the term; “The few, the Proud, the Marines” was coined.

There has been a lot of talk. We know that when TSHTF, only those who have the intestinal fortitude will answer the call.
Our number was set at about 3 million US citizens who will answer that call. That is about 1% of the US population.

  2. Is this the quiet before the storm? People are beginning to notice ((as in, “Duhhhhh”) (some of us began to notice even Pre-9/11)) that the Federal government is almost completely corrupt, is way too big, doesn’t do enough of the things that they want it to do (reduce the budget deficit, the balance of payments deficit, and the national debt), and engages in too many things that they don’t want, like stupid, unconstitutional, illegal wars of aggression (note: if you were in the service during the cold war your adversaries were always referred to as “the aggressors”. Now that we, ourselves, are the aggressors, our adversaries are always referred to as either “the militants” or “the insurgents). Behold, I show you paradoxes (paradoxim?): 1). Does the Federal government overregulate or underregulate? Answer: It simultaneously does both! It overregulates and harrasses small businesses (the primary growth creators of jobs in the private sector) and family farms, for example, and underregulates the financial services industry, for example. 2). Does the Federal government have too little money or too much money? Answer, once again, is BOTH! It’s got unlimited amounts of money to waste on boondoggles (Federal “grant” money (as if they actually have any money! They’re $14.3 trillion in the hole!), the military industrial CONGRESSIONAL (that was actually IN Eisenhower’s WRITTEN text of his famous warning; he just didn’t deliver it verbally that way) complex, and “Homeland Security” operations such as the NSA (Odenton, MD) eavesdropping on your private conversations (they can listen in on your phone even when it’s still on the receiver), phone calls, emails, etc. and the TSA groping in your underwear, but not enough money to maintain and repair bridges and highways, but meanwhile it’s at least $14.3 trillion in debt. Actually, it doesn’t even have ANY money of its own that it doesn’t get from either taxes or having the so-called “Federal Reserve” (private banking consortium illegally delegated constitutionally mandated government powers) crank out some more out of thin air (people used to say “printed” out of thin air, but in the past few years, they haven’t even bothered to fire up the printing presses (I believe they run continuously as it is); they simply enlarge the money supply in the computerized bank accounts from Ben Bernanke’s laptop). Problem is, there is no solution. The Federal government, through its largess, has succeeded in creating a permanent underclass which worships the Federal government and its titular leader (fuhrer?), a man calling himself “Barack Obama (at the present time), sort of like a combination cushion, security blanket and impenetrable shield all in one. As Winston Churchill famously remarked, “Any government which would rob Peter to pay Paul can always count on the support of Paul”. So, they’ll continue to vote for their Republicans, who will make them unhappy, and then they will vote in their Democrats, who will make them unhappy, on an on indefinitely into the future. I almost forgot to say, the other big defense the Federal government has is “The Franchise”. The franchise is all that rich AMERICAN! history involving patriotism, Mom, Apple Pie, and the Flag! (much of it a bunch of phony baloney: for example, there was a person Betsy Ross, and she was a seamstress during the Revolutionary War; however, there is no documented evidence that she stitched together the first American flag). Plus “The Franchise” owns all the famous Washington D.C. buildings and monuments and the national parks, etc. See? There could be some conflict, but there’s no foreseeable possibility of ever reforming much less overthrowing the “Federal Government”. It’s WAAAAY too entrenched.

  3. 79% my ass, from what i have seen most people do not have a clue, most can just barely function, this shit is just a fad, on par with fat, drunk arm chair quarter backs on monday night football. lets just see how many people will be willing to defend liberty when the apcs and tanks come rolling down their street, they’ll run and hide under their beds.

  4. “…All experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security…”

  5. gee at least you are smart enough to quote, but are you able to think for your self, and who was it that first said those words you put in your post?

Gideon prayed for much help, and much help was sent! The proof was in the dream…after the waking!

  10. Political system is rigged, and has been for a long time. The financial disaster unfolding will take care of that, and it won’t make any difference how much money or gold anyone has.

  11. yeah and they ain’t prepped because they’re too busy watching dancing with the stars and desperate housewives.

  12. Even though most people are dissatisfied with the political system, they’re not entirely sure of the cause, or what to do about it.

  13. But will vote for the same bunch of scum bags year after year.

  14. The 21% that think our political system is ok are all the crooked politicians.
