Awake Goy Tehran, Dec 27, IRNA – Presidential Advisor for Parliamentary Affairs Hojatoleslam Majid Ansari said on Sunday that there is no ban or restrictions for women rendering social and managerial services.
Speaking at a gathering on women’s role in in political and social arenas in Shahid Beheshti university, he said, the government has laid the groundwok for active participation of women in managerial sectors and there is no difference between men and women in the sector.
The government believes that all barriers and restrictions facing women in playing an active role in the society should be lifted, he said.
‘It is source of pride to witness that a large number of women have registered to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections and we hope to welcome them both in parliament and Assembly of Experts,’ he said.
Over 60 percent of Iranian women are educated which is very remarkable, he said.
Western media try to depict a untrue image of Iranian women in a bid to humiliate their personalities while Daesh terrorist groups try to keep women in darkness and complete isolation, he said.
