Pro-Palestine Protesters Gather at White House Ahead of State of the Union Address

Dozens of pro-Palestine protesters gathered near the US Capitol on Thursday to decry the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, coinciding with President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.

Holding a large Palestinian flag and banners calling for a ceasefire, the demonstrators accused Biden of contributing to genocide.

“Biden’s legacy is genocide,” one of the displayed banners read.

The protest outside the White House echoed the same sentiment, urging the Biden administration to end its support for the Israeli occupation entity. Reports from The Washington Post highlighted over 100 arms deals approved by the United States for ‘Israel’ since the aggression in Gaza began in October 2023.
