The Queensland government has offered the state’s salaried doctors an annual pay rise of 2.5 per cent.
Premier Campbell Newman told parliament on Wednesday the doctors would vote on a new certified agreement, which proposed a 2.5 per cent annual pay rise for the next three years.
“In addition, the certified agreement will be significantly simplified – the proposed agreement covers approximately 5287 junior and senior salaried medical officers,” Mr Newman said.
