Texas Governor promotes fiscal responsibility while his own state sits on a $13.4 billion deficit

Texas Governor Rick Perry has shown his hand immediately. His presidential campaign strategy consists of attempting to steal away Ron Paul supporters while the mainstream media aids him by refusing to even acknowledge Paul exists.

Perry entered the presidential race on Friday and was instantly hailed by the corporate controlled media as a “top tier” candidate. Meanwhile, Ron Paul was busy romping home to a historic vote total in the Iowa straw poll, coming second only to a phony tea party wannabe in Michelle Bachmann, who could only beat Paul by buying 4000 votes.

As Jon Stewart painstakingly points out, the establishment media is manifestly engaged in a concerted effort to completely ignore Paul. Indeed, establishment media talking heads admitted what we’ve been highlighting from the very start – that there is a deliberate policy to sideline and discredit Paul’s campaign.

Perry, on the other hand, is certainly not ignoring Paul, if his recent “attack” on Ben Bernanke is anything to go by.

Speaking in Iowa yesterday, Perry said,

“I’ll take a pass on the Federal Reserve at the moment, to be honest with you. I know that there’s a lot of talk about ‘em”

“If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I dunno what y’all would do to him in Iowa but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas.” Perry said.

“Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous, or treasonous, in my opinion,” he added.

Sound familiar?

Though he puts it into words much like an 18th century blacksmith would smash at metal with a hammer, Perry is correct about the Federal Reserve and the current administration’s monetary policy. However, the Texas governor is wholly unqualified to make such damning statements.

Under Perry’s governorship, Texas soaked up $22 billion in stimulus money from the federal government’s bailout package.

During Perry’s 11 year tenure, Texas has run up a $13.4 billion deficit, which is 31.5% of the 2011 budget. The Lone Star state has the 3rd highest deficit in the entire country behind only California and Illinois.

Unlike Congressman Ron Paul, Perry cannot possibly paint himself up as a fiscally responsible candidate. Indeed, recently uncovered records indicate that Perry only managed a D in basic economics in college.

Perry’s words once again do not dovetail with his record.

Ron Paul, on the other hand sits on the Joint Economic Committee, the House Committee on Financial Services, and is Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy. Paul has held a steadfast position on fiscal responsibility for over thirty years and has a voting record to match.

20 plus years ago, back when Perry was expending all his energy promoting Democratic candidate Al Gore, Ron Paul was warning the country of the Federal Reserve takeover and the inevitable economic crises that would result.

Anyone with half a brain can clearly see that Perry, the template of a career politician, a man who has flip flopped not only between issues, but even between the two parties, is not going to bring economic prosperity back to the country. The only candidate who has the will to do so and the record to back it up is Ron Paul.

As we continue to point out, there is an ongoing push to drill it into the minds of Republican supporters and voting Americans in general that Ron Paul cannot win.

Zeke Miller of Business Insider today perpetuates this fallacy, noting:

“Other candidates — particularly U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, who won the straw poll, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry — see an opportunity to reach out to Paul supporters as an “electable” candidate with appeal to a broader array of constituencies.”

“In Perry’s case, he has adopted Paul’s ardent criticism of the Fed and its chairman Ben Bernanke…”

“While it’s unlikely these overtures will attract Paul supporters while the libertarian is still in the race, they will help in the event Perry is still in the running after the early states.”

For the last time, Ron Paul IS an “electable candidate”. The fact that every single one of his opponents is riding his coat tails and stealing his campaign strategy should make this fact blindingly obvious.

…what a reptilian-looking motherfucker…he reminds of the super-creepy and deadly politician Martin Sheen played in the big screen version of Stephen King’s ‘the dead zone’…I think the character was named Greg Stillwell? He had this demonic sidekick and they engineered this campaign where Stillwell painted himself as the saviour of family values and all things Apple pie, but would actually launch an unprovoked nuclear war once he was in power…it really creeps me out how much this guy reminds me of that character…art does, indeed, not only imitate life, but predicts it…
Rick Perry isn’t doing to well with the public, and a lot of mainstream Republicans. I believe the PTB put Rick Perry in to be like Ron Paul, so that Ron Paul’s message could then be discredited via Perry. That what they’ve done. Get it?
In Australia they convicted Pauline Hansen for the 2003 electoral fraud but after serving time in jail for 11 weeks it was later quashed. She had been tearful and very distressed when she learned she had to go to jail and serve her sentence, and so her family and lawyer were trying to negotiate things with the jail. They then agreed to make her room in jail as comfortable as possible so that she could serve her sentence, and gave her a TV etc., However, after she came out and years later there was talk about the Australian government trying to extradite that young girl Shapelle who was imprisoned in Bali, this is what the hypocrite had to say to the Women’s Day Magazine whilst fuming about it:-

“She (Shapelle) was convicted on drug charges in Bali and that’s where she must do her time. Foreigners come here to peddle drugs and commit crime with no fear of being caught because our prisons are far better than being on the streets back in their own country. Non-Australian nationals should be deported back to their country if they are convicted of a criminal offence. Australian jails are too influenced by “do-gooders” and are “far too soft”.
She failed to understand that this poor girl not only is forced to live with 6 other girls and in very poor conditions, but that she is serving a sentence that is much longer than hers, and wasting away her who life behind bars. She was also very racist and was against Australia being a multicultural society.

So, if MICHELE BACHMANN is one of these people and is said to have bought her 4,000 votes, then she should also be convicted instead of elected.

As to RICK PERRY I do not need to hear or see anymore of him, as I am satisfied with the impression he has made on me already. He definitely is not the right person to get you people and your country out of trouble, because he does not seem to be a hard worker or knowledgeable about politics. What he really wants out of winning this presidency is the opportunity to mix with those ‘elite’ and so he will be wasting a lot of time with extended breakfasts, lunches and dinners. However, this is not to say that he would not be best suited as an Actor for a Horror Movie called “The Killer Vaccine!” Or, as a Porno Star where he does not have to learn too many lines, but just be himself and act dumb, or as a Model on a Cat Walk showing off some Armani suits – so I wish him luck in those areas instead.

As to RON PAUL judging from what I have heard him say, and the hard work he has been putting in at his age with his campaigns etc., and your confirmation of his past experience of being 100 percent correct in his political prophecies, then he definitely is the man to vote for.
However, just as I have advised before, get him a bullet proof vest and helmet to match before they do to him the same thing as JFK.

When voting for a president people need to vote with their heads, and not their eyes. Leave the fashion statements and charismatic personality for other professions where this traits are required.

- Raegan was not part of the NWO. He believed in the shining city on the hill and true liberty. He was a leader of,by and for the people. He was also a team player who was decieved by his party and those in place around him. But his passion was freedom and the American dream. He did not think of himself as elite but as equil to every other American.
