When a people’s hopes are broken, when a people’s will grows tired,
When your flag lay torn and tattered, when all freedoms have expired.
When you feel the beast of burden, when the rabble flood your shore,
Just harken to the past my friend, we’ve tread this path before!
Heroic spirit never dies, it courses through your veins.
It’s there for those who call to it, to break life’s bonds and chains,
Your gods provide you wisdom and strength, they’ll lead you in the charge,
For even though divine they be, they are but man writ large!
Do not doubt your powers within, combine them with your folk,
Rise up like a giant, let legends begin, and smash the tyrant’s yoke!
A people united are a force to behold, as strong as the strongest oak!
Rise up! Awaken! Break the chains of despair, and smash the tyrant’s yoke!
