A fisherman is missing after falling from rocks in Sydney’s south.
The man, aged in his 40s, was fishing with his two adult sons at Little Bay, near Port Botany, on Saturday morning.
He fell into the water and his sons jumped in to try to rescue him.
They were unable to retrieve him and were themselves pulled from the water before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A police spokesman said a search for the missing man involving the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, lifesavers and police was underway.
He was not thought to have been wearing a lifejacket.
Paramedic David Morris said the two sons, both aged in their 20s, were taken to Sydney’s Prince of Wales Hospital.
