Two adults and five children have escaped uninjured from a housefire in Adelaide, but their small dog had to be resuscitated.
The Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) says they were inside the house in Findon, in the western suburbs, when a fire alarm alerted them to the blaze just before midday.
MFS crews resuscitated a small pet dog that had been overcome by smoke, a spokeswoman said.
The fire gutted a bedroom and caused $50,000 damage to the house.
