Sydney man stabs and kills intruder armed with stun gun

A WOULD-be home burglar armed with a stun gun has been killed by the homeowner after he attempted to rob a house in Sydney’s south west yesterday afternoon.

The 30-year-old robber was stabbed to death by the homeowner after he threatened him with a stun gun in Yagoona, in Sydney’s south-west,  at 3.15pm yesterday.

Police said the man entered a house while the owner was in a rear shed.

The owner, 54, returned to the house and was threatened by the man who was armed with an electronic stun device.

The pair fought and the resident allegedly stabbed the 30-year-old in the arm and chest before he ran from the scene.

He left the area in a red vehicle being driven by an accomplice.

Suffering from severe stab wounds the man got out of the escape car and was left by the side of the road in McArthur St, Fairfield where he was taken by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The intruder basically declared war on a number of homeowners, as he went from door to door. He and his driver accomplice obviously were prepared to use force in their objectives. I think it’s disgusting that the homeowner might now be charged. Who’s the victim here? Will the homeowner have to compensate the scumbag’s family?

If the homeowner were a 90 y.o. woman, then everyone would sing her praises for being so brave. All I know is that I would use WHATEVER force was required to subdue any armed intruder that broke into OUR home and I would NEVER regret defending my family. This scumbag got what’s coming to him and I just hope his driver doesn’t tell lies about what the scumbag told him in his dying moments. Or that the scumbag even lied about what actually happened. Three cheers for the homeowner, although I’m sorry about the death of a human being, but in this case, it was well and truly justified.

Imagine if the homeowner had tried to ring the police for help: result – he would’ve been stunned with the taser and could probably have died of a heart attack.

Government will not tolerate any of us having power to protect ourselves. The objective is for us to stay in fear and be vulnerable… otherwise the government will have something to fear.
