Syrian Army preparing for large-scale anti-terrorism offensive in northern Hama

FNA- The Syrian Armed forces have been targeting terrorists’ positions in Northern Hama regularly to pave the ground for an imminent large-scale operation in the region, field sources reported on Monday.

The sources said that the army’s artillery and missile units as well as the Air Force have been pounding terrorists’ strongholds, headquarters and supply routes of the militants, to weaken their defense capabilities ahead of a large-scale operation by the government forces in Northern Hama.

The daily raids – conducted by Syrian and Russian jets – come as the army forces plan an all-out offensive in the terrorist-held territories after concluding the evacuation agreement in Northern Homs pocket.

In a similar development last week the Syrian Air Force carried out a fresh round of combat flights over the terrorists’ strongholds in Northern Hama, damaging one of their key bases.

The fighter jets pounded the terrorists’ positions near the small towns of Kafr Zita, al-Latamina, al-Hamamiyat and al-Zakah in Northern Hama.

One of the main bases of Jeish al-Izzah terrorist group was destroyed in the air raid near the al-Latamina near al-Assi river that left a number of terrorists dead.

Also, the bombardment destroyed a military vehicle of the terrorists South of the small town of al-Hamamiyat, leaving the entire gunmen on board dead or wounded.
