In Los Angeles, protesters gathered in front of City Hall and danced on buses with “peace” emblazoned on the side.

A smaller protest was held in Chicago’s financial district where protesters held placards demanding “Jobs Not Cuts”.

Protesters also turned out in Denver, gathering downtown before marching into the city chanting, “Occupy the streets.”

- At the beginning I was one of the most fanatic followers of RP, as the time passed I began to analyse that whoever became a “trend” in a society, was MADE trend by an elite class.
  
  This theory applied to RP and I knew that the day the society started supporting RP was the day the elite wanted them to support him.

Read a lot of posts and watched the video of the protests in New York and the Brooklyn Bridge bait and switch arrests by the NYPD. People are protesting for a variety of reasons. The focused anger in New York is all about the massive bailouts by the Fed, corporate and banker cronyism, and rampant corruption going unchecked behind closed doors. It continues as they protest.

These people want to be able to see a future that is not dominated from the top down degenerates. Frankly, I don’t know who in their right mind would want anything to do with the abject corruption and filth that has festered since 9/11 and grown to an exponential melt down point. Others are fed up with endless wars and lies told to them every single day by the corporate controlled media.

It is totally wrong to underestimate the power of peaceful protesting. The NYPD, for example, in the midst of the Bridge lure and arrest of 500, also arrested a 12 and a 15 year old. These actions would make Boss Tweed proud. J.P. Morgan has just handed over $4.3 million to the NYPD. It signaled, protect us please, we know we are corrupt as hell and want to show how grateful we are for your services. J.P. Morgan Chase gave protection money to the NYPD with the tacit understanding that there is more where that came from. No one raised any concerns in city government. The whole thing is one giant confidence scheme. Where did that $4.3 mil come from? Stop and think.

Anyone who is really in touch with the dynamics of the economy knows the plight of students and the unemployed who have been saddled with 6 figure debts, after going to college and finding a jobs market that is producing nothing but more and more service sector jobs. Even those who were lucky enough to gain a job that pays a decent wage, cannot see themselves getting out of massive debt any time in the future, due to interest, cost of living, inflation, taxes.

There is nothing more sane and intelligent than people fighting against rampant lies and corruption and wanting to have a much more sound financial future instead of falling into the abyss of a corporatist state that spits on and mocks them. Expect to see this continue far and wide across the US. Europeans are much better at showing their fierce anger and taking it to the streets in mass strikes, young and older. Young Americans have done the slow burn for quite a while. Now they are manifesting their anger with street actions. If people want change, there is no other recourse. There are many who are in the position of the demonstrators who sheepishly watch it on the Net. Soon those bleachers will be emptying.

The middle class in this country is being dismantled, ripped off, lied to and told to take it at the end of a baton, pepper gas or a gun. Now people are getting real about this abuse.
They want us to protest but this is going to get real violent. Just what the NWO wants to enforce more rules and laws. They will also create a major diversion and bring WW III. It’s time for people to have a voice but the NWO creates the problem and than create the solution. Get ready to lose more freedoms and rights in the coming year. I’m happy it’s happening it’s been long over due. The 60′s are back. Let the battle begin.
If only most of these people weren’t default liberals, but I guess they’re occasionally good for something. People who just blame Wall St. or just blame corporations rarely see the whole picture, especially when these same people support Global Warming schemes like Cap and Trade, which is basically Wall St. meets corporations, meets totalitarianism. - I support some unions like in the trades, the place were unions mess up big time was the benefits. The benefit money has a way of being miss used are lost. I can see this turning around soon were the young workers will want all there money on the check. These big benefit money funds , are just a slush fund for white collar crime. When I work in the trades sometimes I would work for 6 are more companies in a year. My union was my agent just like many people have a agent. Most the time the companies pay me more then they had to, I think the system work fair for both parties. Also it’s easy to run off lazy people in the trades not so in government unions and that is a big problem. This started under the civil service act because the workers were replace after every election around the country. This was also done in the police department , new mayor new police chief , not a good way to have the rule of law. GO PROTESTERS

I think protesting is a bit ineffective and misplaced. If people really want to see the corporations crumble, stop shopping there! Don’t invest your money in Wall Street’s assets and stop putting your money in the hands of banksters! I was in NY for the first few days along side protesting Wall St. and I can tell you that this IS potentially the start. From the ground I can tell you that we need to be more articulate and we need to attempt to get clear messages out when we have the opportunity to talk with the population. That is why before I suggested that not only Luke be there but Alex maybe attempt to go just for a day or part of the day. The mass of the protest is growing so not everyone has the same ideas there, nor does everyone even know a concise reason for being there other than protesting Wall St. People are protesting without following the money trail or knowing who the real looters are. If Popular known activists like ALEX and LUKE were to go there and not just stand on the sidelines for this particular situation, it would charge the path if you know what I mean. They would provide a way to get more info out and directionalize the demands. IT’S NOT ABOUT JOBS! IT’S ABOUT MORE THAN THAT! Saying it’s about jobs is cutting short the issue, in addition to being selfish and playing right into the funnel of MSM and the Gov’t rhetoric….just saying. =)

“A few times a day, they march down to Wall Street, yelling, ‘This is what democracy looks like!’”

The article in the Christian Science Monitor looked like a copy of the ABC article, but these things were in there:

“Seasoned activists said the ad-hoc protest could prove to be a training ground for future organizers of larger and more cohesive demonstrations, or motivate those on the sidelines to speak out against injustices.”

“You may not get much, or any of these things on the first go-around,” said the Rev. Herbert Daughtry, a long-time civil rights activist who has participated in protests for decades. “But it’s the long haul that matters.”

One of the pictures showed a white male making the Che closed fisted salute towards something. No shirt, underwear protruding out of the top of its pants. On its back was a huge red star that appeared to be carved in the flesh in some kind of primitive body art.

These are the “state of mind communists” Herbert Hoover spoke of. No where were there calls for restoration of the Constitution.   I have looked at articles and a couple vids about the subject, but still can’t grapple with the fact that the damage to the towers was certainly caused by something the size and shape of an airliner (among other things).

I am so glad to see this happening. Peaceful protests in the streets all across the U.S., not just on Wall Street.

More and more people are waking up to the truth. And I hope these street occupations continue, although, if they do, the government will probably send undercover agents into the crowds to do violence so the police can blame the protestors and start beating them up.

Same old, same old. Remember the 60s?

So, I hope the street occupations grow so voluminous that it will be impossible for the police to handle, or the mass-media to continue ignoring it or spinning it, while, at the same time, the protestors keep fake anarchists from angaging in false-flag attacks.

I hope the protesting works out. I do know that when I was 9 in 69 and millions were taking to the streets to protest Nam it still took 5 more years to end the “police action”.

These monsters that run the system would kill every kid protesting without a touch of remorse. “They” wouldn’t care if the cops were in the way either. ( ala 911 when 341 firemen and many policemen lost their lives needlessly) Sadly, the men and women of the police, who are by nature protectors and honorable, believe that their orders come from their bosses in the bureaucracy that pay them. The police don’t recognize that their rug will be yanked out when it becomes expedient for “them”.
