Turkish PM due to visit Tehran

Ankara, Feb 26, IRNA – Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is due to visit Iran, according to the country’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Addressing the Foreign Relations Commission of Turkish Parliament, Cavusoglu said that before the visit to Tehran by the Turkish prime minister, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will visit Turkey, according to Anadolu news agency.

He said that Ankara government makes efforts to improve relations with neighboring countries, including Iran.

While reiterating the differences between Iran and Turkey over regional issues, he said that Ankara is happy with lifting international sanctions on Tehran.
