Turkish president optimistic about premier’s visit to Tehran

Tehran, March 4, IRNA – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Friday expressed hope that the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu to Tehran would be fruitful.

Speaking to reporters on his way back home from Guinea, Erdoğan said current situation in the Middle East region is very sensitive and serious, adding that it is expected the visit of the Turkish premier to Tehran will be very promising.

Turkish premier, leading a high ranking politico-economic delegation, is to visit Tehran on Friday afternoon.

This is the first visit of a Turkish high ranking delegation to Iran after the removal of anti-Iran sanctions.
