U.S. Cant Track Tons of Weapons Grade Uranium, Plutonium 753px Ivy Mike mushroom cloud 660x531

President Obama has repeatedly said his top counterterrorism goal is to prevent terrorists from acquiring the building blocks to make nuclear or “dirty” bombs. In April of 2009, Obama announced a new international effort to “secure all vulnerable nuclear material around the world within four years.” Since then, the Department of Energy has dispatched scientists around the globe to collect hundreds of pounds of the stuff.

But according to a report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), issued late last Friday afternoon to little fanfare, thousands of pounds of highly-enriched uranium and separated plutonium remain. American officials may never get a chance to ensure its security.

That’s because the U.S. can’t track or fully account for 5,900 pounds of “weapons usable” nuclear material that it once shipped overseas. Instead, U.S. officials have to rely on foreign governments’ assurances that the potentially cataclysmic stuff is safe. And when those officials occasionally visit the sites holding the nuclear material, nearly half the places “did not meet International Atomic Energy Agency security guidelines,” according to the GAO, Congress’ investigative arm.

Is that so?!! Why was it shipped “overseas”? Who was supposed to get it and, why? Is or has the US been into the export business of Weapons-Grade Uranium, Plutonium? Yes, it has. Now they “claim” they cant “find” it?

Its like the ATF, FBI (gunrunner) gun deal with the mexicans that went bad. They couldn’t “track” those either.

It would be prudent for this government to “get out” of the business of “trading” any type of weapons to any body for whatever purpose.

Their incompetence is beyond measure. Their incompetence is equaled only by their own greed and lust for power.

    IE Greedy stupid fools.

Scout is correct. WWIII has been planed for sometime and it shall be the destruction of the middle east and the starving and hobbling of all other nations. Pan Facism is the plan of the NWO by any means necessary.

they know who has it and where it went just like Iran_contra you have to arm both sides to maximizw profits, some went to pakistan 3 tons is a lot of fire power consider what what is needed for a simple gun type thats close to 1500 to 2000 potential post ww2 flash bangs i hope they dont have air delivery capability, and this does not include the over 53 mega training exercises lost during the cold war with live payloads ,like the 5megaton one that still sits off the south carolina coast to this day burried in the floor of the atlantic

  4. Sounds like a pretext to a possible setup for a false flag. Something happens and it is “discovered” that the material used conveniently went missing some time ago.

  5. Lets hope whoever has it will stick pea size pieces up Barry Soetoro, all trilateral commission members, corrupt congressmens asses.
