UK “Asylum Seeker” Jailed for Terror

A Muslim imam “asylum seeker” living in North Wales, Britain, was jailed this week for six years after being found guilty of a terror plot involving an £18.6 million ($28.6 million) arms deal.

Abdurraouf Eshati, 29, is a Libyan who had been given asylum in Britain in 2009 after telling immigration authorities that he feared for his life after his family had been killed in Libya for supporting the Gaddafi government.

Eshati’s claims were, typical for most “asylum seekers,” completely bogus. His family was alive, and he was in fact an operative for one of the competing Islamist groups in Libya which had been aided in their attempts to overthrow Gadaffi by the British and French governments.

Being unable to check the veracity of his claim, the UK authorities granted Eshati “asylum” and he moved to the town of Wrexham, North Wales.

There, he took up residence at a recently opened “Islamic Cultural Center” which doubled as a mosque. Eshati led prayers during services there as an officially-serving imam.

His terrorist activities remained undetected until November 2014, when he was found hiding, along with other activists, in the back of truck in the port of Dover, being smuggled to France.

Police discovered an invoice for £18 million worth of ammunition on Eshati’s cell phone, sent from an arms supplier for the sale and delivery of 1,100 tons of ammunition to Libya.

His phone also held a document about chartering a cargo jet for $250,000 (£163,000) for use in the North African country.

Police also discovered a number of false documents which Eshati had given to an immigration tribunal in 2012 and he was subsequently charged for immigration offences. They also discovered a forger’s kit of blank documents, assorted letterhead designs, and tests of ink stamps, which had obviously been used to provide fake documents for other “asylum seekers” in Britain.

Eshati, who had 1,000 euros in cash in his luggage, also had images on his phone of activists from the militia group Ansar Al Sharia, and a beheading.

Investigations in Italy revealed that Eshati had been involved in a determined attempt to get arms into Libya in plain contravention of the UN embargo. Eshati’s role was to translate the documents for a friend and senior Libyan army officer who brokered the deal in Italy.

The “Islamic Cultural Center” is located in the building which once housed the North Wales Miners’ Institute and was acquired by the invaders in 2010. At the time, the far left Jewish led “Searchlight” organization in Britain said that a “mosque [in Wrexham] would be something to be proud of.”

The arrest and imprisonment of Eshati shows once again two important facts:

  1. It is ridiculously easy for nonwhite “asylum seekers” to gain access to Europe by simply inventing any story they like. The chances of verifying as fact any of their claims is virtually zero, given the chaos endemic in Third World countries—caused, not by war or conflict, but by general ineptitude and lack of any ordered society.
  2. In 2014 there were 289 terror arrests in Britain, up 29.5 percent from 223 the year before. All of these were Muslims, and a large number were either “asylum seekers” or the descendants thereof.
