FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “The role of the UK in planning the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientists and exerting economic pressures against Iran, as a policy in line with those of the US and the EU, has been so crystal clear that there is no need for the confessions of the officials of the espionage organizations of these countries,” said Seyyed Hamid-Reza Tabatabaei Naeeni in a Saturday interview with ICANA.
He was alluding to the recent remarks by the head of Britain’s secret intelligence agency, MI6, John Sawers, who admitted the UK’s role in conducting covert operations against Iran’s nuclear program.
The Iranian legislator pointed out that Iran’s determination in pursuing its nuclear energy program cannot be undermined by assassinations and other enemy plots and the Iranian nation will not withdraw from its inalienable nuclear rights.
Tabatabaei Naeeni went on to say that Iran is not the only target of Britain’s animosity and London has always been opposed to the nations that strived for their freedom and sovereignty from colonialism.
On June 28, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry said all the Israeli-linked elements behind the assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists had been apprehended.
The first victim of the terrorist attacks was professor Ali-Mohammadi, a lecturer at Tehran University, who was killed by a booby-trapped motorbike in the Iranian capital in January 2010.
On November 29, 2010, Professor Majid Shahriari and Dr. Fereydoun Abbasi were targeted by terrorist attacks; Shahriari was killed immediately and Dr. Abbasi sustained injuries.
Later in January 2012, Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan was assassinated after an unknown motorcyclist attached a magnet bomb to his car in Tehran.
