FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Prime Minister Julia Gillard says former federal and NSW state MP Frank Walker was a “gifted and dynamic figure”.
Mr Walker died at the age of 69 on Tuesday after a political career that included 15 years as a state and federal minister.
“These interests stemmed, in large measure, from the very tragic loss of his two sons to suicide, which prompted him to bring help and understanding to so many others,” she said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Frank Walker’s many achievements as a Labor reformist will be long remembered and he will be greatly missed.”
Mr Walker was federal Administrative Services Minister in the Keating government but lost the seat of Robertson to the Liberals in 1996.
Previously, he was an arts, housing and Aboriginal affairs minister and attorney-general in the Wran government in NSW.
The prime minister also noted his contributions as a judge of the NSW District Court and the Dust Diseases Tribunal and in championing mental health reform.
