“The ISIL militants ramped up their efforts to launch an attack against the Pishmarga forces in the Khazir front,” Brigadier General Dilshad Maulood, a commander of Pishmarga forces in Zeravani Headquarter said. “Before targeting the Pishmarga, the ISIL convoys were destroyed by the Kurdish fighters,” the Kurdish commander went on to say.

On Monday, the Pishmarga Forces’ massive offensives against the ISIL terrorist group resulted in the recapture of more regions near the Northern city of Kirkuk. The Pishmarga forces, in a series of special operations in the Southwestern parts of Kirkuk, retook control over the nearby areas of Vastana village and the residential complex of Abu Nour, and killed or wounded several ISIL fighters.

On Sunday, at least 40 terrorists were killed after Iraqi warplanes targeted convoys belonging to the ISIL Takfiri group near Kirkuk. According to Iraqi media reports, the Iraqi fighter jets pounded 8 convoys of the ISIL in Zab area near Kirkuk, killing more than 40 terrorists. The reports added that the convoys were destroyed after four missiles were launched against them by the Iraqi jets.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.


Aleppo, SANA- The death toll from rocket attacks on Aleppo city has risen to 23 martyrs while scores others were injured, most of them are children, a source at Aleppo Health Directorate said. The source pointed out that the death toll is likely to rise due to the critical cases of many wounded, adding that al-Razi and the University hospitals received more than 100 casualties, tens of the m are children.

Earlier, a source at the province told SANA’s correspondent that terrorists located in Bani Zeid neighborhood fired rocket shells on the aforementioned residential areas, claiming the lives of eight people, three of them children, and injuring 70 others, 30 of them children.

The source said that the injured victims were rushed to al-Razi and Unviersity Hospitals in the city for treatment, and that the attacks caused massive damage to citizens’ homes and properties, with large chunks of a building near al-Rhaman Mosque at the intersection between the two areas collapsing on top of the building’s inhabitants.

Civil defense and security personnel are working to clear the wreckage and rescue the people trapped underneath it, the source added. The source also said that terrorists fired shells at Nile Street in the city, injuring 8 civilians, some of whom sustained severe injuries.


Provinces, SANA, Units of the army and armed forces, supported by the air force, killed and injured terrorists of different organizations and destroyed their weapons and vehicles in a number of area.

Damascus Countryside

Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, established full control over Ras al-Kosh Hill and Qernet Ras al-Saabe at al-Jarajir Mountains in Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside province after eliminating the last gatherings of terrorists,  a military source said on Tuesday.

Dozens of terrorists were also killed and several vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, were destroyed in army air strikes in Qalamoun mountains.

In the same context, an army unit targeted Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Khan al-Sheeh town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus. Many terrorists were killed and four of their vehicles, which were loaded with weapons and ammunition, were destroyed in the operations.

More terrorists were killed in concentrated operations against their dens in the towns of Kafar Hour and Beit Tima areas and Beit Jinn farms. Meanwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged the death of one of their groups’ leaders in al-Tadamun neighborhood in southern Damascus city.

Abu Rida al-Turkmani, identified as the leader of the so-called “Jabhat Ansar al-Islam”, was killed along with a number of other terrorists during clashes with popular defense groups in al-Tadamoun neighborhood, according to the terrorist organizations’ social media pages. “Jabhat Ansar al-Islam” terrorist group has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Homs

In central Syria, the army air force launched a series of strikes against dens and positions of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the countryside of central Homs province.

The army air force also carried out a number of strikes, destroying dens of ISIS terrorists in Palmyra and in the vicinity of al-Sha’er oil field in the eastern countryside of the province.

Scores of terrorists were killed in the strikes  and others were injured in addition to destroying a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Hama

In neighboring province of Hama, the army air force destroyed a number of terrorist organizations’ vehicles and killed scores of their members in al-Rahjan and to the north of Mourek, Salba and al- Mushrife in the countryside of the province. A military source said that the air force of the Syrian Army carried out concentrated strikes on Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ gatherings in the eastern and northern countryside of Hama central province.

The source told SANA that the air force carried out raids on terrorists’ gatherings and moving axes at the north of towns of Mourek and al-Mushirfe in the northern countryside of the province, killing many and injuring others, in addition to destroying their vehicles.

Many terrorists were also killed in military operations in the villages of al-Rahjan and Salba in the northeastern countryside of the province.

Daraa

An army unit carried out a special operation against a den of Jabhat al-Nusra and other Takfiri terrorist organizations in Busra al-Sham city, 40 km to the east of Daraa city.

More than 100 terrorists, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra, were killed in the operation and others were injured and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.

Quneitra

In the neighboring Quneitra province, an army unit targeted movements of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh village, where a number of the terrorists were killed and a vehicle with a heavy machinegun mounted on it was destroyed.

Another army unit killed many terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in the towns of Toloul al-Homr, Jebata al-Khashab and to the north of Tal al-Ahmar in the northern and northeastern part of the province.

Lattakia

In the coastal province of Lattakia,  army units carried out operations against terrorists in Ketf al-Rumman, Salma and Kensabba villages in the northern countryside.

The operations in the aforementioned villages, which are located 13 km away from the border with Turkey, resulted in destroying 3 mortar and rocket depots. A number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed, including one leader who was nicknamed Abu Taha al-Filastini.

Aleppo

Army units, aided by the army air force, destroyed a number of terrorists’ hideouts in Bustan al-Basha, al-Shaar, Old Aleppo, al-Maadi, Bani Zaid, al-Ansari, Karm al-Jabal, al-Sheikh S’eed, al-Firdous, al-Sukkari and Bustan al-Qasr in the city and countryside of Aleppo province.

Terrorists were killed and their vehicles were destroyed in al-Meizliyeh, al-Mansoura and al-Lairamoun.
