Another home has been hit by a gunshot in Sydney’s west.
A woman discovered a single bullet lodged in a rear wall of her home on Bunya Road, at Bidwill, about 4pm (AEST) on Thursday.
She called the police, who collected the projectile for further examination. It appears to be a .22 calibre bullet.
Police suspect the bullet was fired into the house from a reserve at the rear of the property during the day on Thursday when the woman was not at home.
Police say it’s too early to say if the attack is linked to the recent spate of shooting that have plagued western Sydney as part of a feud between bikie gangs.
“Police are exploring a number of lines of inquiry,” a spokesman told AAP on Friday.
