Iran, Norway research centers to ink cooperation MoU

TEHRAN, March 02 (Shana) — Representatives from a Norwegian oil services company, Aker Solutions ASA, will sign a memorandum of understating with Iran’s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) to cooperate in petroleum research areas.

Following a visit to RIPI, a Norwegian delegation of Aker Solutions’ executives discussed future cooperation with RIPI’s chief Hamid Reza Katouzian.
During the meeting, the two sides underlined mutual cooperation in upstream, downstream, environment and human resources sectors of petroleum industry.

RIPI, the research arm of the Iranian petroleum ministry, has hosted of delegations from France, South Africa and South Korea in recent years.
