Israeli bulldozers raze Palestinian farms in Gaza

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Israeli occupation bulldozers razed on Wednesday morning Palestinian farms in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli military vehicles, accompanied with bulldozers, crossed the eastern borders into the besieged coastal enclave.

“The bulldozers levelled wide swathes of farms planted with aubergine, cucumber and tomato,” the eyewitnesses said.

Prior to bulldozing the farms, the Israeli occupation forces fired several shots towards the farmers, who immediately left their work and fled the farms.

Israeli military incursions inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the “buffer zone” which lies on both land and sea sides of Gaza, takes place almost every day.

The Israeli army regularly opens fire on Palestinian fisherman and farmers along the border areas, despite a ceasefire agreement reached between the Israeli occupation and the Palestinians, which ended the 2014 major Israeli offensive on Gaza.
