Occupation kidnaps Palestinian boy in Jerusalem

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Monday afternoon 14-year-old Palestinian boy in occupied city of Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation forces claimed that the little Palestinian boy was holding a knife while walking near a Palestinian house stolen by an illegal Israeli settler.

However, the boy’s friends, who were walking to school with him, denied the Israeli claims. They said that three young Israeli settlers threw stones at them, they fled and the Israeli soldiers kidnapped one of them.

According to the Israeli general radio, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the boy and took him to one of the Israeli investigation centres in the Old City.

It has been widely known that a big number of illegal Israeli settlers are living in houses stolen from Palestinians in the Old City of Jerusalem. Therefore, large numbers of Israeli occupation troops are always deployed in the area to protect the settlers.

Human rights NGOs have repeatedly reiterated that the Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the Old City are dealing harshly with the Palestinians, mainly children.

Palestinian Authority said that there are more than 7,000 Palestinians in Israeli jails, including 360 children.
