Palestinian boy speaks about his detention experience

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -A 14-year-old Palestinian boy, who was arrested last month by Israeli occupation forces, speaks about his traumatic experience.

Basim Ali, unreal name, was arrested on February 17, 2016 during the night from his house in the West Bank village of Sa’eer.

“At around 2:00am, there was banging at our front door,” Basim, who gave his account to Military Court Watch, said. “When my father opened the door, Israeli soldiers burst into the house and immediately asked about me.”

He continued: “They asked me for my birth certificate and then told me to change. They did not give us any documents but they told my father they would take me to Etzion for interrogation.”

The little boy said that the Israeli occupation forces told his father and him that he was arrested because he was accused of throwing stones at Israeli occupation soldiers.
