Students will return to a Catholic school north of Brisbane today where a school girl was stabbed repeatedly in the head and neck.
Caboolture’s St Columban’s College was put into lockdown and classes were cancelled after the 14-year-old student was stabbed in her head, neck and back on yesterday morning.
A 16-year-old male student handed himself in to police shortly after the incident and has been charged over the incident.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act.
The victim is in a stable condition in the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
