Syrian Tank Shell Hits Golan Heights

Ynet – Residents of a town in the Golan Heights reported hearing a loud blast in the area Wednesday morning. A 100 mm tank shell fired from Syria was then found near the community.

The mortar landed in an open area and apparently did not explode. Sappers are dismantling it. It was likely the result of a misfire during battles between Syrian rebels and Assad’s forces.
