demand, stop conniving at and supporting separatist attempts to achieve
Tibetan independence, take practical measures to eliminate the terrible
impact and take actions to preserve Chinese-British relations.”
Mr Cameron and Nick Clegg met the Dalai Lama earlier this month as he
travelled to the UK to collect the £1.1 million Templeton prize, which he
donated to Save The Children.
In the past, China has reacted strongly to some countries for hosting the
Dalai Lama.
In 2008 it called off a major European summit because Nicholas Sarkozy, then
French president, was due to meet the Dalai Lama.
