A loud boom similar to the sound of an explosion has been heard over much of northern California apparently as a result of an ongoing meteor shower, The Los Angeles Times reported.
The newspaper, citing Stefanie Henry, a National Weather Servicemeteorologist in Sacramento, said the sound had been produced by a meteor apparently breaking up above the Earth, sending the sound reverberating across the area.

The sound may have actually been the object it self exploding rather than a sonic boom.
There are no asteroids and nothing in space that will hit us. The cover-up begins.
They are claiming they can detect any ICBM flying towards us.
But then they have no idea where this came from?!!!
