A light plane has crashed killing the pilot in north-western NSW.
Police and emergency services were called to a property on Weilmoringle Road, 60km north-east of Bourke on Sunday morning.
Upon arrival emergency services found the pilot’s body.
He was the sole occupant of the aircraft and is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established with local detectives investigating the incident.
The coroner and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau is also investigating the matter.
