The climate change alarmists are getting desperate. Their latest poly to convince the public that their unscientific assertions are true is to blame the release of methane by the dinosaurs for global warming.
Basically, because the dinosaurs farted too much, they caused climate change on such a drastic scale that the whole planet was affected by global warming.
Professor Graeme Ruxton from St. Andrew University in Scotland, is purporting that the giant animals spent 150 [million] years emitting the potent global warming gas, methane.
Ruxton’s team calculated the animals would have collectively produced more than 520m tons of methane a year – more than all today’s modern sources put together.
The herbivores were the worst of the culprits. Although Ruxton has not empirical data, he supposes “that animal’s stomach would have produced thousands of [liters] of the greenhouse gas compared with a modern cow which only produces 200 [liters] of methane daily”.
Ruxton goes on to say that his assumptions led him to the conclusion that: “our calculations suggest these dinosaurs may have produced more methane than all the modern sources, natural and human, put together.’
“A simple mathematical model suggests that the microbes living in sauropod dinosaurs may have produced enough methane to have an important effect on the Mesozoic climate,” said study leader Dr. Dave Wilkinson, from Liverpool John Moores University.
Leading scientists have jumped onto Ruxton’s bandwagon to concur that the flatulence produced by the dinosaurs was probably the actual killer of the species. Their methane releases created a catastrophic change in the earth’s climate. This change was so intense, they claim, that the dinosaurs could not survive in the altered weather patterns.
Methane can affect the trapping of heat into the atmosphere by up to 20%. It more successful than carbon dioxide in this respect.
Scientists are equating these dinosaur assumptions to the methane expelled by cows which is estimated at 100m tons per year. Ruxton and Wilkinson claim that cows are similar to sauropods that expelled massive amounts of methane into the atmosphere.
According to Professor Ruxton and his co-researcher David Wilkinson, are saying that cows are more of a danger to our environment than the dinosaurs because of flatulence.
‘In fact, our calculations suggest these dinosaurs may have produced more methane than all the modern sources, natural and human, put together,’ said Wilkinson.
Climate Change alarmists have been demanding the securitization of the world’s food supply for quite some time.
Researchers are now decrying that global catastrophe will take place by 2050 unless there is a drastic reduction in emissions caused by food production. Their main target is animals like cows, which emit greenhouse gases through their flatulence.
Eric Davidson, director of the Woods Hole Research Center in Massachusetts is supporting the bunk science of man-made climate change. He suggests that developed countries have to cut their fertilizer use by 50%. Davidson also clamors for the populations of the world to stop eating meat. “I think there are huge challenges in convincing people in the west to reduce portion sizes or the frequency of eating meat. That is part of our culture right now.”
While the idea of not raising animals for food consumption is purveyed by these eco-fascists, scientists have been working toward perfecting the artificial engineering of meat from bovine cells in laboratories.
The supposition of dinosaur flatulence being a conduit for the climate change that cannot be proven to be true by scientific data, is a ploy to coerce the general public into believing something that has no basis in reality.
The agenda behind climate change is the control over the world’s populations.
This ludicrous study is clear evidence that climate change alarmists will stop at nothing to convince everyone that man-made global warming is the problem. They ignore the fact that the earth is cycling naturally. Although this may pose an inconvenience for humanity, there is nothing unusual going on within our bio-sphere.
