Plans to put Atlanta’s public spaces under camera surveillance will move forward this week with the opening of a state-of-the-art video monitoring center.

Whether it’s good that Atlanta is joining other big cities in the video surveillance race depends on your comfort level with being watched more often by police.

The downtown “Video Integration Center,” funded by a mix of private donations and public money, has already given Atlanta police links to more than 100 public and private security cameras.

Wake up and realize that you must act if your way of life is to be preserved. Everyone knows that actions speak louder than words. It is now time for action! Unlike talking, more action is needed! If you are willing to take action read on?

The modern-day equivalent of adding the Bill of Rights to the Constitution is a political movement that will make government, local, state and national, more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and equitable. That political movement is “The People’s Branch” at ThePeoplesBranch(dot)org. The People’s Branch is a realistic, reasonable and non-violent, way for the people to regain control of government.

There are those that are still asleep and convinced in their beliefs that modern times don’t require a more reasonable and fitting form of control over government. They believe that what may have worked for government over a hundred years ago can’t be improved upon. They are wrong!

The People’s Branch is working to give the constituents of each elected official the power to participate directly in the governing process alongside that elected official. This will grant all voting constituents of an elected officials to become part of that elected official’s ultimate check and balance. The technology now exists that can implement this. Literally The People’s Branch.

Implementing a “People’s Branch” at each level of government, local, state and national, will guarantee a government that is more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and equitable. Yet, why is it that even though everyone is for better government a political movement that would ultimately improve government at all levels by neutralizing special interest’s control is yet to be implemented?

There has never been a greater need for the political solution(s) provided by The People’s Branch. But no one is saying it is going to be easy. Yet, neither was the Civil Rights movement or the Women’s Suffrage movement, etc., etc. Politicians fear this political movement because they know that if it succeeds then their power and control will come to an end and the people’s influence upon government will truly begin.

Talk is always going to be cheap. However, if you want improvement in government then you should be willing to take action and get involved in the only political solution that has a chance to truly reform the evils of government in a sustainable way! You, your family and future generations will appreciate the positive changes.
Don’t forget to moon the cameras and give the middle finger in defiance of this illegal government spying.

I live near Atlanta and let me tell you, it is far worse than they are letting on. As you travel down any major road (400, 575, 285, 85, or 75) you can see the next camera. Most major roads in the suburbs have plenty of cameras too. Police in some cities/counties have constant video surveillance already. Dunwoody and Chamblee both have “traffic” monitoring systems which include cameras and sensors. Not far from the Chamblee police station is a police assembly area with a fenced in field right next to it. They use the old GM plant in Dunwoody to train SWAT team members urban combat. Yeah, I’m ready to GTFO when almost anything happens before they have time to close everything down.
Better make sure all those cameras are equipped with night vision capabilities, since there aren’t any white people in Atlanta anymore…
It seems to me the misuse of electricity is dominating the good use of electricity. Which means that I would rather live without it. Bring on the EMP’s and solar flares!
- Yes I think some small EMP patriot bombs would be appropriate. It discusting seeing these cameras whos only purpose is to loot citizens and put them n jail. It certainly has nothing to do with safety. I would only be good after that fact to selectively lock up patriots.
