About 2500 homes on Sydney’s northern beaches were plunged into darkness for over an hour after a blackout on Monday night.
Power was restored to all homes in the Curl Curl area at about 9.45pm, Ausgrid crews reported.
Ausgrid said in a statement that electricity supply was interrupted in the area at about 8.30pm due to a fault on overhead equipment, impacting homes between North Curl Curl and Freshwater.
