Books That Changed History

Analysis by palace-periodicals is miserably subjective. The Guardian, as might be expected, includes The Communist Manifesto by Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx. Few people own or actual read this work or the other contender, Das Kapital by Karl Marx.

Palace-periodicals depend not on diagnostic analysis but opinions of staff writers. Predictably, the result is woefully peppered with leftist fantasies and favourites.

Always avoided are politically incorrect books that did indeed change the world. A strong challenger would be Alfred Rosenberg’s The Myth of the 20th Century. Highly readable is Joseph Goebbels’ Diaries. However, whilst educational, often amusing and certainly inspiring, the master propagandist’s journals cannot be described as world-changing. Nor can Hitler’s Table Talk.

Analytical research reveals that Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf is the clear winner in book popularity. It is said to be second only to the Holy Bible in terms of demand.

Of course, readership alone never determines a book’s effect on world-change. The Fuhrer’s Mein Kampf, as a chronicle, educates and inspires. Amusingly, the best tribute to Mein Kampf was made by the noted Anglo-American poet W. H Auden:

That’s the only honest book written by a politician.

Another strong contender for the ‘Books that Changed the World’ award would certainly be The International Jew by Henry Ford.

Nonetheless, the clear winner is Gottfried Feder’s Programme of the N.S.D.A.P published in Munich 1932. The author’s masterwork was translated into English by official translator Edgar T. S Dugdale. Gottfried Feder’s Programme of the N.S.D.A.P, is not a light read and is best absorbed by page.

It is unlikely that Adolf Hitler’s N.S.D.A.P (National Socialist German Workers Party) would have achieved power or the Workers Reich be such a success without Feder’s ‘nation-building instruction manual.’

Obviously, any book that proves the superiority of National Socialism over other ideologies is unlikely to find favour in a world that is badly run by plutocrats of one flavour of another. Do turkeys vote for Christmas?

Gottfried Feder’s Programme of the N.S.D.A.P repaired ‘The German Wreck of Versailles’ and self-destructive Weimar system before propelling the Workers Reich to heights of prosperity never before or since equalled. The book offers revelations that even the Holy Bible or Quran cannot hope to disclose.

Gottfried Feder’s Programme of the N.S.D.A.P could easily be retitled ‘Nation Repair Manual’. If so, then Libya, Ukraine, the European Union, the United States, and others, could, within 36-months, also build a society as content, prosperous and futuristic as was the Workers Reich. Sadly, that is not in the interests of the ideologues and plutocrats who today are taking the world to hell on a handcart.
