Plastic army men have never looked so bendy. Boing Boing brought our attention to a light-footed stop motion animation, “Choreography for Plastic Army Men,” of light-footed toy soldiers dancing to lounge-y jazz band Pink Martini’s “Ohayoo Ohio.” The near-obsolete toys bend, twist, shake and do things you’ve never seen the usually stiff soldiers to do, no matter how hard you tried to bend them out of shape (we know). According to animator David Fain, the film was shot in his garage during “various bouts of unemployment.” Anyone else curious as to how much unemployment has done for our internet culture?
