FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Christian and Muslim leaders of the Central African Republic have joined hands to prevent the country from further plunging into religious strife and mass atrocities.
Following the intensification of religious and sectarian conflict in the Central Africa Republic, Archbishop of Bangui Dieudonné Nzapalainga and the country’s most senior cleric Imam Oumar Kobine Layama have banded together to prevent further clashes between Muslims and Christians in the African state.
Nzapalainga and Imam Oumar Kobine have been traveling across the country to promote unity among various religious groups.
“We have to leave this cycle of hate, or the state will fail,” Archbishop Nzapalainga said.
“There is a complete disorder in this site. Young people are carrying grenades and machetes,” Imam Yalama said.
The Central African Republic spiraled into chaos in March when the Seleka fighters overthrew President Francois Bozize and brought Michel Djotodia to power. Bozizé fled the country after his ouster.
On September 13, Djotodia dissolved the Seleka coalition. Some of the rebels later joined the country’s regular army while some defied.
Last week, Amnesty International says that clashes between the Seleka rebels and the anti-Balaka militiamen had left about 1,000 people dead in Bangui two weeks ago.
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said on December 13 that more than 600 people were killed over the course of seven days in the Central African capital of Bangui and other parts of the country.
“We are in the thick of an absolutely catastrophic situation. The needs are immense, and the situation is getting worse,” Adrian Edwards, a spokesman for the UN refugee agency said.
