A Colwyn cop who allegedly stun gunned a handcuffed teen in police custody has been held for trial on simple assault charges.
Cpl. Trevor Parham appeared for a preliminary hearing before Senior Magisterial District Judge David Videon this morning. The alleged victim, 17-year-old Da’Qwaun Jackson, and County Detective Thomas Worrilow were the only witnesses to take the stand.
The teenager testified Parham had no reason to arrest him the night of April 24, but admitted he was screaming and kicking the jail cell and had refused to give the officer his name.
