Crash closes highway near Bathurst

A fatal accident near Bathurst has closed the Great Western Highway in both directions.

The Transport Management Centre says the accident happened at Glanmire and involved a truck and a motorcycle.

Due to the seriousness of the accident, the highway is expected to remain closed for some time, and motorists should detour via Oberon.
