Day 105: Palestinian Resistance Unyielding as Israeli Aggression Against Gaza Persists

January 19, 2024

The Palestinian resistance shows no signs of backing down as they confront the relentless Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, even as the international community remains silent. Despite facing a continuous onslaught, the Palestinian people stand strong against the atrocities committed by the Israeli enemy, with Western countries and some Arab regimes complicit in the ongoing crisis.

The United States’ tacit approval of these actions only emboldens the Israeli forces to commit massacres against defenseless civilians in the besieged Strip. The hypocrisy of those who champion human rights and freedoms becomes evident as they turn a blind eye to the bloodshed and sufferings inflicted upon the people of Gaza.

Each passing day brings more losses for the Palestinian resistance, especially since the ground aggression began. The dilapidated army stands resolute, despite casualties among its forces, soldiers, and vehicles. The watchful eyes of resistance fighters’ cameras document the Zionist failure, exposing the lack of any significant military or security victory for the Israeli forces within the Strip.

Israeli media reported that a highly regarded military commander has been experiencing nightmares that Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force would invade Galilee.

Hebrew media said on Friday that Brigadier General Shay Klapper, commander of the Israeli army’s 91st Galilee Division, has been grappling with recurring nightmares that the elite force in the Lebanese resistance group would invade Galilee.

Meanwhile, Ynet Israeli news website reported on Friday that Klapper, had warned last year that his division was unprepared for a potential surprise attack by the Hezbollah.

Klapper warned Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate Commander Major General Aharon Haliva several months before the Hamas’ October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, that his division did not have enough troops to counter such surprise offensive by Hezbollah.

The confrontation, according to a report by Yossi Yehoshua for Ynet, took place between Klapper and Haliva in a hall filled with the most senior Israeli officers.

Klapper stood on the stage and warned that in the event of a surprise attack, “the mission – to protect the communities of the north” would be nothing but an empty slogan.

Haliva dismissed the concerns and said that if such an attack occurs he and the rest of the General Staff could resign, according to Israeli media.

Yehoshua added that the Israeli commanders who were present at that meeting have been unable to forget it since the war broke out on October 7.

“While Hezbollah did not launch a surprise attack from Lebanon, the Hamas organization did launch such an attack from Gaza,” Arutz Sheva, also known in English as Israel National News, commented on Ynet report.
