Famous Egyptian journalist Abdallah Al-Sennawy yesterday strongly criticised President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi for what he called the “engineered elections.” In an interview with Independent Arabia, Al- Sennawy pointed out that Egypt “is currently on verge of collapse,” calling on Al-Sisi to review his policies. Al-Sennawy stressed that the popularity of the Sisi regime is falling and “it does not bear a real competitor” in the presidential election.
