FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Morsi will fly to Riyadh on Wednesday to hold talks with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and other senior Saudi officials.
King Abdullah “has invited President Morsi to visit Saudi Arabia to strengthen relations between both countries in all areas,” said Saudi Ambassador to Cairo Ahmed Qattan, quoted by Egypt’s official Middle East News Agency (MENA).
US President Barack Obama had sent a message to Morsi prior to the confirmation of his upcoming visit to the kingdom.
US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns is currently in Cairo on a two-day-long visit, holding meetings with Morsi and many other senior Egyptian officials as well as the country’s politicians and civil society representatives.
The US embassy in Cairo said in a statement that Burns had conveyed a message from Obama to Morsi.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is also scheduled to visit Egypt on July 14 and will most likely meet Morsi.
On June 24, after days of delay, Egypt’s Supreme Presidential Electoral Commission announced that Morsi had won the county’s June 16-17 run-ff presidential election.
Morsi picked up 13.2 million votes out of just over 26 million ballots cast, which had given him 51.7 percent of the vote.
His competitor, Ahmed Shafiq, the last prime minister under ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak, received 12.3 million votes or 48.3 percent.
After the announcement, tens of thousands of Egyptians gathered in the capital and across the country to celebrate the victory.
