FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda The development of MeeGo operating system (OS) got a boost after Finnish startup, Jolla, announces it will work with MeeGo community developers to design, develop, and sell new smartphones powered by the OS ditched by Nokia in favor of Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the company revealed its team is formed by directors and core professionals from Nokia’s MeeGo N9 department. Together with international private investors and partners, it will create a new smartphone using MeeGo OS slated for “later this year”.
Jussi Hurmola, CEO of Jolla, said: “Nokia created something wonderful–the world’s best smartphone product. It deserves to be continued, and we will do that together with all the bright and gifted people contributing to the MeeGo success story.”
The startup added it is aggressively hiring top MeeGo and Linux professionals to contribute to the development of its products. It did state that it will not support Nokia’s existing MeeGo-based phone, N9, because the product does not belong to them.
Chipmaker Intel, which was the other active development partner with Nokia in creating MeeGo, had earlier abandoned the platform too. Last September, Intel announced together with the Linux Foundation and the LiMo Foundation that it will support a new mobile platform called Tizen, which will combine the best of MeeGo and LiMo while adding a standards-based HTML 5 and WAC Web development environment.
