Yes, unfortunately West Bank settlements are attractive investment opportunities for dirty industries, which produce large quantities of pollutants.

Environmental regulations on soil, air and water are less strictly enforced in the West Bank by the Israeli military administration and there is usually more leniency with regards to the environmental quality levels.
