German Police Arrest 700 People in Hamburg Clashes

‘Police in the German city of Hamburg have arrested hundreds of people following clashes that broke out between the supporters and opponents of the neo-Nazi movement in the city.

The incident occurred after both the leftist and rightist groups organized their marches on the same day in the northern port city. German police dispatched over 1,000 officers to the scene to control the rival groups, who had coordinated their rallies with the authorities.’
