Congressman tells packed out NYC audience: “America is ripe for a true revolution”

A new Harris Interactive poll released today reveals that Congressman Ron Paul would defeat Barack Obama 51-49 in a hypothetical run off, one of only two Republican candidates who would stand a good chance of preventing Obama from securing a second term in the White House.
Only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney would beat Obama, according to the poll, which found that Obama would defeat every other Republican candidate, including Rick Perry.
The survey is another indication that Paul is quickly moving into second place to become Romney’s main challenger as Rick Perry’s campaign crashes and burns.
The poll was conducted in mid-September and surveyed 2,462 US adults. Its findings reveal that Paul has now overturned Obama’s slim majority in a hypothetical run off between the two and would likely beat him, especially if he was afforded the kind of national platform that the corporate press have been loathe to provide.
As we have previously discussed, despite an admitted establishment media dirty tricks campaign to deliberately ignore Ron Paul’s candidacy, he has emerged as a top tier candidate with a genuine chance of challenging Romney. A Paul victory in the Republican primary would represent a major problem for Obama’s hopes of a return to the Oval Office because it would remove the incentive for many Democrats to back Obama.
Democrats who voted for Obama in 2008 will only be motivated to do so again if Republicans put forward a compromised candidate like Mitt Romney who can easily be characterized as George W. Bush 2.0. If Ron Paul runs against Obama, huge numbers of Democrats will take a back seat, and some may even switch allegiances, such is the profound sense of betrayal many liberals now feel towards Obama’s completely unfulfilled promises of “hope” and “change”.

Top political analysts are now seeing a Romney-Paul head to head. Many of the independents who support Rick Perry are likely to switch to Paul should Perry’s campaign continue to implode. Paul would have a very good chance of taking on Romney because he would expose the former Massachusetts Governor’s big government history for all to see.
Ron Paul told a packed out audience in New York City last night that America was “ripe for a true revolution,” during his appearance Grand Ballroom, after the overwhelming number of attendees caused the event to be moved to a larger venue.
“We are seeing a level of enthusiasm for Ron Paul that can be compared with President Obama in 2008,” Eric Brakey, Media Coordinator for NYC Liberty HQ told CNN. “Congressman Paul’s youth support is different now than it was during his last presidential campaign. It’s more organized and it’s picking up steam and continues to grow”.
“The country has changed in the last four years, but my message hasn’t changed,” Paul said. “The country is ripe for a true revolution”.

These poll numbers scare me as they reflect what tainted e vote machines have laready proven to supply- A close race 51 to 49 but the elite guy just barely sqeaks out on top (or so they would have us think). I perceive that paul is way far more ahead than 51-49 and I am being conservative. We need to get mobilized now to monitor the upcoming vote to ensure fairness and ACCURACY!

I believe that Ron Paul is the man for the job of fixing the American economy. There is no other man out there that that can hold a candle to him. I think he will be the greatest president since JFK. I know (and expect) the Paul Plauditsto be “all present and accounted for”, here.
But just last week, Rasmussen Poll ran “Generic Republican” against Obama, and “it” won by a larger margin than this (47%-42%).
I know when you get “good news” polls, you guys sure don’t spare the “crop” running that horse into the ground.
I’m starting to come around on Paul, except for the one big fossil factor I have said from day one.
Alex, long ago, back when you really seemed to believe that overcoming the false left/right paradigm was the way forward, I think you were on the right track. That was the single most important factor that persuaded me to take you seriously. But you’ve never stopped baiting the left. You attack immigrants, the poor, homosexuals, socialists, etc., at nearly every opportunity, constantly throwing red meat out to your right wing followers. And now Ron Paul’s candidacy is doing to you, to the Right, what Obama’s candidacy did to the Left.
I’ll explain. Obama’s grand success, and is posing as a progressive with left-wing sympathies (even though he is in fact a hard core corporatist fascist) fooled much of the Left back into the tribalistic narcissism that has strangled it for so long; we thought “see, we don’t need the Right after all. **** them. ” Ron Paul’s magnificent rise has fooled you the same way. Thank goodness, he doesn’t seem to be the faker that Obama is, but still, you are obviously thinking “**** the Left. We don’t need them!” And that is EXACTLY the reaction the globalists want you to have. You are losing sight of the basic truth you once championed. We need to understand that the separation between the populist Left and the populist Right is THE VERY THING that has kept populism out of power for 100 years, that has made us slaves to the ruling financial elites.
If we on the Left and the Right would get our heads out of our nasty little ***s, we would finally see that our ideas are more complementary than they are contradictory. You champion property. We champion community. BOTH THOSE PRINCIPLES MAKE SENSE. You champion individualism. We champion the social safety net. BOTH THOSE IDEAS MAKE SENSE. And so on. We have a lot of work to do to create a unified political theory, but we can do it. However, to get there, we have to drop the smug arrogance we like to have whenever ‘our’ side seems to be scoring more points, as you are doing now, and as we were doing during Obama’s rise, and we need to commit ourselves to dialogue, real dialogue.
I know that if many Lefties would just listen a little, they could begin to understand that many of your ideas on the Right have merit. The same is true the other way around. If you would just stop hating us and if you could bring yourself to actually listen, and to try to understand, you’d see that we actually have a lot of good ideas, and that we see some things you don’t see, just as you see some things we don’t see.
When you guys come back down to earth, as you inevitably will do, the bottom line will still be the same as it was before; we can only fight the corporate fascist globalists if we stand together, if we overcome the false left right paradigm. We have to rediscover We The People, and we cannot do that as long as we are unwilling to evolve beyond the false left right paradigm.
Right-libertarianism is a group of libertarian political philosophies which support capitalism. I happen to see Ron Paul as a Right-libertarianism. This is what Ron Paul stands for, not this:

Well, I think you are partly right. I don’t put much into what Williams says, for the exact reasons you’ve just stated. Webster Tarpley represents Lyndon LaRouche’s ‘exec. intel’ organization, which is probably shrouded in more paranoia, than intelligence.
The whole ‘gold and silver’ thing is rather humorous. This isn’t a good time to buy gold. You buy low and sell high. Not the opposite. So, if you had gold when it was 500 an ounce, now is the time to sell it and still make a big profit on it. It’ll eventually go back down again.
You have to take what AJ or anybody else says with alot of caution. That’s why I investigate their links in the articles they post. Some are better than others. Use your brain.
Seems to me that someone is really going out of his way to be negative, negative and not point out all of the great information and analyses AJ and Infowars provides. The Gold and Silver market are jumping up and down like wild rabbits based on minimal news about progress in the EU. The volatility is off the charts and lots of hedge funds and investment banks had to cash in to cover their short positions. Williams has called oil prices exactly right until we entered this period of maximum turbulence where it is all up for grabs.
Frankly, no one is some ultra guru who can call everything correctly. Silver and Gold are on their way back up and oil companies are making record prices at current prices. Very interesting post. I dream in very clear full color story lines about things in the present and some in the past. Many times my dreams are more interesting than reality can be. They do acknowledge that Paul is not the GOP pick. I think they are trying to give us hope that things will go for the better. Paul has already stated that if he wins, he is afraid of an assassination plot. Remember, JFK was once president of the US and because he didn’t go along with the agenda, he died. Paul has never changed on his beliefs and that has been demonstrated during his entire run in Congress. He supported Reagan because of what Regean told the people. What about Obama?
